ROSE QUARTZ (pale pink)

A stone of unconditional love and infinite peace. It resonates with the heart chakra, purifying the heart and opening it up, bringing deep healing and promoting self love. It gently draws off negative vibrations, strengthens empathy and increases sensitivity. It can aid in accepting necessary change. FIRE QUARTZ (Hematoid Quartz, varying degrees of translucency, with orange to red inclusions)

This highly active version of quartz is named as such due to the presence of hematite or iron oxide inclusions. The darker red is known as Fire or Hematoid Quartz. Combining the stabilising and balancing effects of hematite with the amplifying properties of quartz, Fire quartz is energising, organising and activating. It is a crystal of clear thinking, helping us find focus and clarity in the mind by drawing chaotic or incoherent energy patterns into the root chakra and grounding this energy into the earth. It is useful in the integration of light and shadow, helping us to balance different aspects of the self. It brings confidence, abundance and insight. Rudrasksha means “the eyes of Shiva.” It’s believed that Shiva meditated on the welfare of mankind and emerged crying tears of compassion. The tears, upon hitting the Earth, crystallised to form the trees that grow rudrakshas. Medicinally, they are known to heal mind and body ailments, reduce heart disease and lower blood pressure. They are also believed to increase clarity and general awareness, calm the central nervous system, help quiet the mind, and free us from negative thought. In addition, they are said to be cooling when worn against the skin, and increase energy and stamina while providing rejuvenating qualities.
